Swiss Markets is a forex brokerage that was founded under the BDSwiss Holding PLC group which has been in operation since 2012. Under this corporate umbrella, Swiss Markets was founded in 2016 to provide customers with a safe, transparent, and reliable service for STP transactions. Customer protection is also clearly of the utmost importance to Swiss Markets, and they are subject to one of the most stringent regulatory environments out there in CySEC. This affords a high level of customer protection to clients and means they must comply with the MiFID EU regulations.
Commissions & Fees
Fees and commission will differ depending on which of the four different account types of theirs you subscribe to Classic STP account, Raw STP Swiss11, Raw STP Swiss8, and Raw STP Swiss5. Each of these account types has a range of different features, options, and, most importantly, pricing structures on offer. It is worth taking a close look at what exactly each account type comes with before committing any funds to the platform. Spreads are the highest on the Classic STP account, although you will not be subject to any additional fees or commission. In contrast, the Raw STP, Raw STP Swiss8, and Raw STP Swiss 5 account have spreads as low as 0 pips, while fees will vary between $11 to as little as $5 per lot traded.
Platforms & Tools
Swiss Markets provides customers access to the ever-popular MetaTrader 4 platform. The Swiss Markets take on this platform is positively packed with features and gives users all the technical analysis and charting tools they will ever need. Mobile versions are also made available too, which is great for those traders looking to take their investments on the go.
Customer Service
Customer support is a particular strong-suit for Swiss Markets, and they offer one of the best multi-lingual customer support services we have come across. Language support is available in English, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Greek, and more. This is fantastic to see and compares very favourably with even some of the biggest brokers out there. Customer service can be reached via live chat, telegram, email, phone, or via WhatsApp. Additionally, a comprehensive FAQ is also provided should you need a quick answer to any queries you might have.
Final Thoughts
Although not necessarily one of the biggest names out there, Swiss Markets provide a very impressive package overall. They are one of the most stringently regulated brokerages we have come across, and the level of customer support service blows its similarly sized competition out of the water. Add into this mix a range of account types to suit all levels of traders, coupled with a very competitive pricing structure, and you find in Swiss Markets one of the strongest contenders out there at this current moment.
