You are one step away from submitting your complaint

Pressure selling. We have heard of instances where brokers will pressure people to make deposits on the basis they can forecast a market move and guarantee you will make money. These sorts of claims are bogus and illegal.

99% of these complaints have been in relation to unregulated brokers. The regulators ban such behaviour and we want to hear about any cases of you being persuaded to deposit money for a specific trade.

You should never deposit money with a broker who is giving you any form of recommendation that you will make money from an upcoming market move.

Use our form below and report your case..

Delayed payment. Before submitting your complaint, you should give the broker at least 10 days for money to arrive. With international wire routing it can sometimes take up to 10 days for accounts to be settled and if the broker has had a delay in issuing the funds, you could see a delay of up to 14 days before your funds arrive.

If you are waiting longer than 14 days, then the first step is to initiate contact with the broker and get the payment reference. Then call your bank to see if they can trace it, sometimes banks will hold international payments if they have a fraud concern.

If this gives you answers then submit your complaint below. Do not provide us any sensitive data like your bank information. All we need is your account ID and the amount owed, along with when you made the withdrawal request and we can contact the broker.

Verification issues. Regulated brokers are under intense scrutiny to make sure you are who you say you are. Any broker who has a light-touch verification should be looked at carefully as it is in your interest that the broker takes the time to verify you are you.

However, we do want to make brokers aware if they are making it too hard to get a trading account opened and brokers need to get feedback from clients so please tell us if you have had issues as it helps inform the brokers of possible lost business and helps us decide which brokers we want to promote.

Declined payment. These issues are almost always down to your bank and usual because they need to double check with you that you wanted to send money to the broker. Before making a complaint, call your bank.

If that is no help, call the broker and check why it was declined, they may have some of your data wrong.

If that fails, submit your complaint below. Do not give us any bank details.
